Alumni News ~~ Where are we now….???

Two of VCA’s recent alumni are out making a difference in the world! Ryan Redd and Nicole Allen, who both graduated from VCA in 2005-2006 are part of the largest service fraternity in the world, Alpha Phi Omega. They are both Executive Members on the Campus Activities Board, and travel as delegates for their college around the country. Recently in Roanoke, Virginia they volunteered all day to help set up for President Bill Clinton's town meeting.

Hello everyone,
Baltimore News featured the American Legacy Tour that Caryn and Dan are transporting. 

I just talked to Caryn, they are headed for New York tonight.  They will be at the Forbes building one day and in Harlem the next.  When I find out the schedule and locations, I'll let the "NYers" know.

The exhibit has gotten good press and reviews.  Caryn and Dan are especially excited because they have been invited to stay at the home of the magazine's owner who resides in NY.

BOOSTER CLUB INFORMATION

What is the Mission of the Boosters?

The Boosters provide and promote enthusiastic support for the athletes, managers and coaches of all 8 Victory Christian Academy’s athletic teams (currently competing in 5 sports: basketball, cheerleading, soccer, softball and volleyball).  The goals of the Boosters include:

•           Increasing School/student/parent awareness of our teams
•           Increasing School/student/parent recognition of our teams/athletes/managers/coaches
•           Increasing School/student/parent support of our teams
•           Providing special support for the particular needs of specific sports and specific teams

What do the Boosters do?

•           Coordinate and publish the Sports Newsletter 4 times each year
•           Sponsor special recognition of Senior athletes
•           Assist coaches with recruiting team parents (and other key parental assistance)
•           Assist Athletic Department with the Sports Awards Banquet
•           Sponsor special recognition of all Victory Christian Academy’s championship team

What do Boosters receive?

۰          Recognition at all VCA Home Athletic events
۰          Recognition in all Sports Newsletters
۰          Discounts at all VCA Home Athletic events (Discounts are based on giving level)

How to join the Boosters?

All members of the Victory Christian Academy community are welcome to become Boosters (including Students, Parents, Grandparents, Alumnae, Friends, Faculty, Staff and Coaches).  Your annual gift of $35 for an individual Booster membership ($50 per couple and $75 Family) funds most of the Boosters’ support and recognition efforts.  Your membership dues for July 2008-June 2009 extend your Booster membership through June 30, 2009.  For your convenience, you also can choose to join the Boosters for multiple years (as provided for on the Membership Registration Form).
